Yoga is union and conscience. Union between mind and body, conscience of here and now. Honoring the origin of the word “yoga”, “Yuj” which means to unite, join, in La Hacienda Na Xamena, Ibiza we invite you to try one (or more) of our yoga session.
Yoga in La Hacienda Na Xamena
In one of the most magical places of the Ibiza island, in the north, on the top of San Miguel port, surrounding of cliffs bathed by crystal clear waters we celebrate our yoga sessions, a new service offered by La Posidonia Spa Ibiza new for the 2019 summer to provide our guests a calm moment in which the conscience of the present will be the unique protagonist.
Each body is different, also each day and we know that not always our bodies and minds have the same energy, sometimes the practice that we need is calm, easy focused in the meditation and nevertheless, in other moments the movement and dynamism are the best allies to reconnect with ourself.
Being aware of this reality, our yoga sessions are 100% customized, you could choose the time at the day in which you wish to practice your asanas, if you prefer practice alone or in a group, the type of yoga and the session duration from one hour to one and a half hour.
Individual Yoga Class
You could choose the day and the time, always with advance booking, this is the way to get a quality session according to your needs and intentions
Grupal Yoga Class
Every Friday at 9:00am the Hacienda Na Xamena, Ibiza can join to a complementary grupal yoga session.
The access is limited so, do not forget to book your place.
What do you need to practice Yoga
The main and most important are the motivation to do your practice, if you got it, in La Hacienda Na Xamena Ibiza lends you everything else.
The mat, is a very important tool to practice your asanas because it make easier your practice giving to your body a comfortable place where work with it.
The block, is not a “mandatory” or indispensable tool but, the block is very useful for the beginnings yoguis or for who need help to improve their flexibility.
You only should bring comfortable outfit, our suggestion is to practice yoga with tight clothes which adapt to the body. It is very important that the body shows its line to make possible the instructor’s corrections.
The yoga is a millenarian discipline whose practice seeks to strengthen body, mind and spirit through physical exercise (asanas), the breath (pranayama) and the meditation (dhyana) and brings multiple benefits to those who practice it regularly.
Improves breathing there is nothing easier than breathing, nevertheless, breathings looks very easy but needs a technique, learn to control the breathing can help to control the emotions, for example a deep and calm breathing balance the nervous system, slows the heart rate and relaxes the muscles, perfect for anxiety or stress moments during the day. Knowing different breathing techniques and practicing them improve blood circulation, positively influencing the brain, vital organs and limbs.
Strengthens the immune system Practicing yoga regularly helps to reduce the level of cortisol (the stress hormone) increasing resistance to diseases and infections.
Increase flexibility through the practice of asanas the body is acquiring greater flexibility that helps prevent and combat muscle pain caused by bad body postures. Improved body posture is also a benefit of a more flexible body.
Strengthens muscles and bones, a defined musculature improves physical appearance and protects bones, preventing injuries and preventing diseases such as arthritis; besides improving the coordination, the falls are reduced.
